Mark Bova's Bio
Co-Founder
Hello, I’m Mark Bova.
When Lisa and I founded Lenity Financial, we chose the name “Lenity” because it means kindness, gentleness, and compassion. Early in my career, I saw how often the financial industry prioritized scale and products over people. That realization shaped our vision for a different kind of firm.
I spent many years at Guggenheim Partners, where I became a recognized ETF expert and helped lead the growth of their ETF business from approximately $2 billion in 2008 to $32 billion by 2015. That experience sharpened my analytical skills and taught me how to solve complex investment and portfolio challenges creatively. I hold the CFP® (Certified Financial Planner™) and CIMA® (Certified Investment Management Analyst®) designations.
At Lenity, I bring that depth of technical expertise to every client relationship. As your dedicated family CFO, I focus on building comprehensive, tax-efficient investment strategies, retirement plans, and estate coordination. I enjoy thinking outside the box and am never afraid to challenge conventional wisdom when it better serves your goals. As a fiduciary, I am legally and ethically bound to always act in your best interest.
I’m passionate about translating complex ideas into clear, actionable plans. My goal is to protect your wealth, cut through unnecessary complexity, and give you confidence and peace of mind.
Lisa and I are proud to be a husband-and-wife team based in Geneva, Illinois. We love serving the Tri-Cities and Fox River Valley communities and are honored to work with families across the country.
